An Introduction to Energy Manipulation

Before you can begin exploring the field of psionics, there is one thing you need to accept. You are made of energy. This computer is made of energy. Everything is made of energy. You are one with the universe. Sort of scary, right? This may or may not be the same energy you talk about in science class. Theories on energy ( or psi, as many of us call it ) abound. Right now, that doesn’t really matter.

The idea of energy manipulation is, rather obviously, that you can manipulate the psi in and around you to do – theoretically – anything you want. What you can do with it, of course, is limited by your knowledge, skill, and experience. So here’s some basic information to start you on your way.

Drawing Energy

Like I said, energy is all around you. You can draw it into yourself if you’re tired and low on energy, or if you just don’t want to use your own. Drawing psi is also a good way to start sensing it, which will help a lot later on.

Okay – here’s how to do it. First, get comfortable. You may have to sit still for a while. I’m personally a very nature-oriented person, so I like to go outside. Then you should choose your target to draw from. I’ve always thought the air was easiest. Other people draw energy from the earth, water, the Sun, or the Moon.  Try not to draw energy from other living things without their consent. That can hurt them, and other energy is easier to get anyway.

Alright. Now that you’ve chosen your target and gotten comfortable, open your mind to your surroundings. Think of how the world is made up of energy and try to sense it. Unless you’re lucky, you probably won’t right away. Don’t expect to actually see or feel it – few people can at the beginning. Instead, try to visualize the energy and pull it towards your hands.   “See” the energy coming into your body. “Feel” it flowing through you. You may start to feel a warmth or tingling in your hands. Try and move that feeling down into your core, storing the energy in your abdomen. Congrats! You’ve just manipulated psi. Wasn’t that easy?

Grounding

Grounding is the opposite of drawing energy. You can use this technique if you’re suffering an energy overload ( too much psi in your system ) or you’re ridding yourself of negative ( bad ) energy. If you’re grounding negative psi, you’ll need to store it somewhere where other people won’t pick it up. If it’s regular energy, you can send it anywhere.

Alright. First, “feel” and “see” the energy in your body. The more thoroughly you visualize it, the easier this will be. Send the energy up your body and down your arms, into your hands. Once you’ve managed that, push the energy out of your body into whatever object you’ve chosen. Keep doing this until you’ve gotten rid of enough or the object feels full. The feeling of pushing is difficult at first, but once you’ve gotten it down it’s simple.

Drawing energy and grounding  are the basics of manipulating psi. Once you’ve mastered them, you can move on to constructs – objects made completely out of psi. Don’t forget – if you’re not having fun, stop doing it.

  1. I find this information to be quite interesting but what I would like to know is how to condense the energy(psi) into a ball. If at all possible I would like the ball to be strong enough to make a hole in a wall. I don`t expect learning it to be easy but I do expect it to be fun and a good way to spend time.

p.s. I have been trying to get this for years now but I have to admit its not easy well thankyou for your time hope to hear a reply.

    • I don’t think it’s possible to keep concentration that long, to make a hole in a wall. But, it would be really cool to be able to do thst!! :)

  2. All right. Basic condensation is easy. Density is about the amount over volume, so it just means you need to stuff more energy into the same amount of space. If you can’t hold the shape of the ball in your mind – although after years you probably can – just fill the shape of your rounded hands. Keep pushing as tight as you can and adding more… until you’re too tired to keep on going.
To make a hole in the wall? Hmmm…. that may or may not be physically possible. Energy is not a solid, is not any state of matter, and so I’m not sure if it can have a direct effect on matter. It would take a LOT of energy to do that, for sure.

Practically, I’d leave you with the advice given to frustrated PKers. If you can’t bend a spoon with your mind, step on the bowl and pull. If you really need a hole in the wall, getting a chair would be a heck of a lot faster. But keep trying, and tell me if you ever get results. : )

  3. How do you tell if you have an energy overload? Do energy overloads lead to poltergiests?

    • You may feel overly warm, tingly, or restless. I’ve only had it once, so I can’t say too much. Poltergeists, I believe, are caused by psychically gifted people in emotional distress, releasing their powers without realizing it.
